What to wear…
Please come dressed in comfortable clothes that you can move easily in that you don’t mind ruining forever. We use waterproof glue and other finishes that will not come out of clothing. If you have music playing ear protection, bring it to listen to music while working otherwise, we’ll provide all the necessary PPE.
Also bring…
A lunch! We’ll break for lunch around noon. PCC is right down the road in case you need to go there, but it is always nice to sit and chat with the group.
Please note…
I hold no certification in woodworking. I am a second generation self taught woodworker who has been building things using trial and error for almost 15 year. If I don’t know how to do something, I google it or watch a YouTube! I can pass on a lot of knowledge, but mostly I want to pass on the confidence to make things even if you don’t know everything. Wood is forgiving and fun and I want everyone to know they can build stuff!
Liability Waiver…
I will be going over safety protocols that I have been using for years, but at the end of the day it is your responsibility to keep yourself safe. If you feel uncomfortable about using any of the tools, please abstain and I can do that part for you. By registering for this class, you are releasing Azure and the property owners of any liability for injuries that occur while in the class.
